Handy Shortcuts for Programmers

Personally, I am a big fan of keyboard shortcuts and you can find me using a many in my routine. For advanced users the following keyboard shortcuts probably aren't anything new. Nevertheless, I decided to compile the list, to give users new to programming a starting point. Be aware, that as I'm a mac user, these apply to OS X.

ctrl + e

There is also + , but using the upper one allows your hands to stay on the normal keyboard layout.

Jump one letter to the right (forward)
ctrl + f

Jump one letter to the left (backward)
ctrl + b
