Adobe Creative Suite 5: Michael Coleman on After Effects CS5
Bei Motionworks gibt es ein Video des After Effects Produktmanagers Michael Coleman, der einige der neuen Features vorstellt.
Einige der neuen Features in Kurzzusammenfassung:
- 64-bit After Effects CS5 application, with improved performance and memory features
- Roto Brush tool
- Refine Matte effect
- AVC-Intra import, improved RED (R3D) support, and improved ProRes handling
- Added Digieffects FreeForm
- Added Imagineer mocha shape for After Effects plug-in and improved mocha for After Effects planar tracker application (version 2)
- Auto-keyframe mode
- Apply Color LUT effect for using color lookup tables
- Align panel improvements, including ability to align layers to the edges and center of a composition
- Synthetic Aperture Color Finesse 3, with support for 32-bpc color

Also auf die neuen Versionen bin ich echt einmal gespannt, wird zwar wieder eine teure Angelegenheit, aber es scheinen einige wichtige Funktionen dabei zu sein.

Kanns kaum erwarten Roto Bush auszuprobieren. Hier gibts noch ein Tutorial, wo man sieht, dass es nicht ganz so einfach ist, wie die Sneekpeeks von Adobe behaupten: http://www.motionworks.com.au/2010⁄04/aecs5-roto-brush/
Gleich noch nen Wunsch für CS6 hinterher: Content Aware Fill für After Effects! Und dann solls bitte immer so gut funktionieren wie in den Sneekpeeks ;) Käme dem „Make-Perfect“-Button schon rech nahe.
